Section IX Tournament

Seeding Meeting: Thurs. May 21, 2026 Sectional Dates: 5/23/26 - 5/30/26 • Section IX Championships: o Saturday, May 30, 2026 @ Cantine / Lorenz Field Saugerties, NY (Rain Date: 5/31/2026) • Regional Dates: June 6 & June 8, 2026 • State Tournament: June 12-13, 2026 Sites: • Top seeded Home Field prior to Finals. • Finals Sites TBD by Baseball Committee. • Playoff Sites and Conditions will be determined by Baseball Committee. Games: • Rained out games will play the next day • Section IX Games follow Suspended game procedure adopted by NYSPHSAA. Scrimmages: Baseball scrimmages must include free substitutions and lineup cards will not be exchanged. Scrimmages must also include one or more of the following: 1. Play six (6) outs per half inning (example ‐ 3 outs clear the field/ 3 more outs). 2. Batting order must be altered or modified to include more batters than rules permit. 3. Start with a runner(s) on base with a predetermined situation for at least two (2) full innings
