NYSPHSAA Heat Index Policy SECTION IX EVENT CALENDAR FOR 2026 GIRLS TENNIS: Mandatory Rules Meeting Date: Monday August 26th 2026. Time: 7pm Via Google Meet (link To Be Shared Later) USTA Coaches Workshop Date: August 20th 2025 Time: 2:30-5pm Site: Matchpoint Tennis, 1717 Ny-17m, Goshen, Ny 10924 (all High School Coaches Are Encouraged To Attend This Workshop, Free Of Cost, Specifically Designed To Enhance Coaching Knowledge, Skills And Drills For Varsity & Jv Players). Section IX Team Tennis Championships A. Section IX Large School Semi-Finals (OCIAA Div. 1 vs. OCIAA Div. 2 Team Champions) Friday 10/13/26, Middletown HS, 4pm B. Section IX Team Championship (OCIAA vs. MHAL), Monday 10/19 (*rain date 10/20) Start Time: 4 pm - OCIAA and MHAL (Large School and Small School Team Champions compete); Site: Middletown HS C. NYSPHSAA Regional Team Tennis- Section 9 @ Section 1 *Large School: 3 singles and 4 doubles *Small School: 2 singles and 3 doubles Date: TBD Site:TBD Time: TBD Section IX Singles/Doubles Championships Wednesday 10/21 - Thursday 10/22/2026 • On Wednesday 10/21/26 Both Singles and Doubles Matches will be played up to and including the Quarter Final Round. • On Thursday 10/22/2026 both Singles and Doubles Semi Finals and Finals along with Consolation round for third place will be played. • Start Time: 10am on both days. Coaches Meeting: 9:30am on both days. • Site: Goshen Sports Complex: 1717 Route 17M, Goshen, NY Tele: (845)294-0017 • MHAL and OCIAA individuals reaching the quarterfinals of the 2025 OCIAA or MHAL Girls Tennis Singles and Doubles Individual Championships shall qualify for the 2025 Section IX Girls Tennis Singles and Doubles Individual Championships; ** SEED COMMITTEE MEETING FOR SECTION IX DRAW WILL BE HELD AT GOSHEN SPORTS COMPLEX ON THURSDAY OCTOBER 16th AT 3PM FOLLOWING THE CONCLUSION OF THE OCIAA TOURNAMENT. SECTION IX COACHES WHOSE PLAYERS HAVE QUALIFIED FOR SECTION IX TOURNAMENT ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THIS MEETING. NYSPHSAA Singles/Doubles Championships 10/26-10/28/2026 - Participants who finish in 1st- 4th places in this Section IX Singles event and 1st – 3rd place in Doubles shall qualify for the 2023 NYSPHSAA Girls Tennis Singles and Doubles Individual Championships; -Site: USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center (information on NYSPHSAA website) NYSPHSAA Team Championships 11/6/2026 -NYSPHSAA Regional Champions (North, South, West and East) compete at the NYSPHSAA Team State Championship, Semis and Finals; -site: USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
