IMPORTANT: Vaccination Requirements for State Championships at RIT: Vaccination – Proof of both vaccination shots required for all event attendees. This includes athletes, coaches, committee, staff, judges, merchandiser. -Both Shots – 2nd shot must be administered by February 19, 2022 (2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT) -Procedures and staffing for checking vaccinations - RIT Security Staff & Student Workers will handle this upon arrival of NYSPHSAA participants, workers, guests, spectators starting on Friday. It is anticipated there will not be an increase in staffing or cost for our event. Anyone at RIT on Friday can be vaccination- checked during practices and will be given a wrist band for entry the next morning. Removed wristbands will not be acceptable at any time. Spectators and anyone else arriving Saturday can be checked in that day. -Proof of Vaccination – Photo ID and vaccination card. These items may be photos on a phone. -Capacity limit related to COVID – No limit due to vaccines being validated -Medical exemptions, if any – No medical exemptions permitted -Other COVID restrictions or guidelines at RIT – Masks are required for everyone. University policy. RIT will enforce it throughout venue.
