Boys Lacrosse 2020-2021 Section IX Tournament Thursday, 7 June 2021 Seeding Meeting – Virtual Section Semi-Finals: Tuesday  8 June 2021 Class C: #1 seed vs #4 seed (higher seed hosts) Class C #3 seed vs #2 seed (higher seed hosts) Section Semi-Finals: Wednesday 9 June 2021 Class B: #1 seed vs #4 seed (higher seed hosts) Class B #3 seed vs #2 seed (higher seed hosts) Section Semi-Finals: Thursday 10 June 2021 Class A: #1 seed vs #4 seed (higher seed hosts) Class A: #3 seed vs #2 seed (higher seed hosts) Section Finals Class D Thursday, 10 June 2021 (higher seed hosts) Class B Saturday 12 June 2021 (higher seed hosts) Class C Friday 11 June 2021 (higher seed hosts) Class A  Saturday 12 June 2021 (higher seed hosts) Seeding  Up to 4 teams per class qualify for Sectional Tournament, but each team must meet the minimum qualifying standard Seeding based on the points system outlined in the Section 9 Boy’s Lacrosse Handbook. If a game is not played or made-up due to covid, each team receives 3 points for seeding purposes. Using the Class Points worksheet, teams will figure average points per game by dividing the number of total points by number of games played. Higher points per game average qualify This will account for games missed due to Covid 19 restrictions or quarantines Tournament Seeding Selection Tie-Breaker Process  1. Head-to-head competition. 2. Goals allowed head-to-head. 3. Total goals allowed per game within Class 4. Coin Toss In case of Covid cancellations of class games, teams will be seeded based on the points per game for those class games which were completed.
