Section IX golf Results:
The tournament was played on May 24 and May 26. Andrew DeForest from Rondout Valley won the tournament for the second consecutive year. The following boys qualified for the state tournament in Cornell:

Re: Section IX Golf Championship

Date: Spring, 2010

            The first round of the tournament will be played at the Villa Roma Country Club in Callicoon, N.Y. on Monday, May 24th  @ 12:30PM.

            The Championship round will be played at the Casperkill Country Club, Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, May 26th @ 11:30am.

As always proper etiquette and behavior will be expected.

Dress and Footwear:

  1. Only spikeless shoes and sneakers are acceptable.
  2. Collared shirts and slacks will be required by both coaches and players (no shorts or jeans allowed)
  3. Coach or Athletic Director will accompany all competitors.
  4. All coaches will have assigned duties during the duration of the tournament.

Please note the following:

CELL PHONES, PAGERS, IPOD'S AND RANGE FINDERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ON THE COURSE.

Practice Rounds:

Casperkill:
Anytime After 3pm. $15 per golfer.
Call the pro shop to arrange a tee time and let them know it is a practie round for the High School Sectionals. 845-863-0900.

Villa Roma:
