Safety Certification Course: https://nfhslearn.com/courses/cheer-and-dance-safety-certification What is Game Day Cheer? • Game Day is a competition that celebrates traditional cheerleading. • It gives teams a forum to compete in categories that reflect what they do on the sidelines to engage crowd involvement and demonstrate school traditions. Categories: Band Dance, Situational Sideline, Time-Out Cheer, Fight Song CHEERLEADING SECTION IX GAME DAY COMPETITION 2023-2024 CHEERLEADING SECTIONALS - GAME DAY Location/Date – Wednesday, October 25^th – 6:00 PM @ Cornwall HS The top teams from Sectionals will compete at STATES on November 5^th at Visions Arena in Binghamton, NY. Each school must have a copy of their music licensing agreement/proof of purchase. See where to find music guidelines on page 7 of the handbook. It will be required if your team qualifies for States. • DIVISIONS (based on school size) Division A – 849 and up Division B - 479 - 848 Division C – 478 and below
